www.nj.gov/getfitnj
New Jersey's Acting Governor Richard J. Codey has challeneged the state's citizens to engage in six weeks of regular physical activity to earn a certificate of recognition. Perhaps as importantly, the state has made a small collection of key resources on family fitness, nutrition and heath accessible in one place online.
The GetFitNJ Challenge
Requirements for earning a certificate are simple:- For participants over 18 year of age, 30 minutes a day of any exercise for 5 days a week for six consecutive weeks.
- Those under 18 need to exercise 60 minutes a day.
GetFitNJ provides incentives in the form of tutorials about health, recipes, and tips for family exercise.

A page from the US Department of Health and Human Services; Centers for Disease Control gives you a simple table for calculating your BMI with one click, and explains what it all means. How long does a child have to bike to burn the calories in a bottle of soda?
