All states have some sort of Substance Abuse department or division offering varying types of services. Some states
actually operate their own Drug and Alcohol Treatment Centers while others only provide counseling and referrals to
privately run centers. Some states provide funding for low income residents to attend Treatment Centers and enter into
Rehabilitaiton Programs while others only help with obtaining funds from other government and charitable sources. If
you qualify for Medicaid which is a state run program, you may also quality for Medicaid Drug and Alcohol Treatment.
Almost all states also have hotlines that residents can call. These hotlines generally can assist you during a treatment
crisis, help you locate the nearest treatment facility and tell you what funding sources may be available in your area
to pay for Treatment. Since each state offers different programs and resources, please visit the Substance Abuse
Department for your state below to explore which options are available.

A balanced and nutritious diet can significantly contribute to the overall well-being and success of the recovery process. Here are some key reasons why a healthy diet is important during addiction recovery:
It's important to note that individual nutritional needs may vary, and consulting with healthcare professionals or nutritionists can help tailor a diet plan to meet specific requirements during addiction recovery. Additionally, integrating a healthy diet with other aspects of a comprehensive treatment plan, including therapy and support groups, enhances the overall effectiveness of addiction recovery efforts.
