Virginia State is located in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern regions of the US. Officially known as the Commonwealth of Virginia, the state is known as "the birthplace of the nation" and the "Mother of Presidents." This is because eight of the previous presidents of the country were from Virginia, including four of the first five presidents.

Today, the state is widely known as the home base for the United States Navy's Atlantic Fleet. Its best two attractions are Monticello and Mt. Vernon.
